Role purpose
A Senior Account (Solution) Manager provides leadership to accounts by most often leading a small team in managing existing project execution i.e. patient support programs and other programs of work adapted to a client’s need from our solution suite. The role also supports new business initiatives via extension projects within current accounts and seek opportunities with new potential clients.

Preferred experience and skills
- Ideally 4 years in a patient engagement or patient support role, or alternatively with a medical communications agency or similar
- Ability to manage profitable client projects with confidence and limited input
- Proven ability to reach revenue targets
- Proven ability to reach client satisfaction metrics in a similar context
- Advanced project management skills
- Mentorship / coaching / development of more junior members of the team, with limited input from others
- Direct line management
- Ideally exposure to behavioural health, digital health, market research, consumer behaviour or customer / patient experience mapping
Job description
Client Engagement
- Generally viewed as the key contact on accounts and works closely with any Senior / Solution Executives to manage communication content and channels with the Client
- Confidently leads status calls, client presentations, workshops and responds to project requests
- Establishes and maintains strong trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders for individual projects and identifies opportunities to establish new connections across his/her client organisations
- Fully understands the project / client situation, patient demographics, and objectives before determining a solution
- Proactively addresses any issues that arise and confidently leads problem solving with the client, bringing in Senior support when appropriate
- Communicates requirements, timelines, issues, status, and progress to all project stakeholders (clients, internal and external suppliers involved in projects) with confidence
Client Project Management
- Overall responsibility for managing the delivery of all work for assigned clients, on time, in budget and to a high quality
- Proactively manages internal and supplier resources, with minimal oversight
- Creates project plans, manages project updates and project milestones to ensure all aspects of the project flow smoothly
- Ensures learnings from Client accounts are considered and taken into account for future work
Budgeting and profitability
- Leads financial management of the project, including opportunity planning, creating budgets, raising POs, reviewing cost estimates (external suppliers), raising invoices and being accountable for profitability
- Meets or exceeds billable utilisation of self and any other team members, and identifies opportunities for optimisation
Business Development
- Seeks opportunities to expand Atlantis’ scope of work within existing clients, proactively submitting organic growth proposals, and raising ideas within the Client Service team
- Supports the development of new business opportunities through solution ideation, process mapping, budget creation, and attending pitches
- Actively contributes to new business opportunities outside of own accounts by sharing networks and insights
- Is a team-player and willing to help out across all functions of work that the agency is delivery and pitching to win
Leadership
- Develops team through the career path by providing ad-hoc buddying and mentoring support
- Line management of at least one Senior / Solutions Executive, including working on a personalised learning and development plan, regular 121s, goal setting and coaching
- Actively coaches Senior / Solutions Executives to higher levels of competence and career progression
- Acts as a credible role model to junior team members
